Iloilo City, Philippines – The University of San Agustin (USA) continues its commitment to providing world-class education with the completion of several infrastructure upgrades aimed at enhancing the learning environment for students, faculty, and staff.

As part of the university's Vision 2025 Strategic Plan, these upgrades are designed to support the institution's growth and modernize its facilities, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and dynamic campus experience. The newly expanded and renovated areas will cater to both academic and co-curricular activities, reinforcing USA's reputation as a leader in education and innovation.

Key Upgrades and New Developments

Among the major upgrades is the new state-of-the-art Science and Technology Building, which boasts modern laboratories and equipment for the university's STEM programs. This space will allow students in fields like Pharmacy, Engineering, and Biology to conduct cutting-edge research in world-class facilities.

Additionally, the university has launched a brand-new auditorium equipped with the latest multimedia technologies, perfect for conferences, symposia, and cultural events. The improved student lounge areas are also designed to provide more spaces for relaxation, study, and collaboration among peers.

The university also took steps toward enhancing sustainability with the installation of solar-powered lighting and eco-friendly waste management systems across campus.

A Commitment to Student-Centered Growth

“The infrastructure improvements reflect our commitment to a student-centered approach in every aspect of academic and personal development,” said Dr. Marissa Fernandez, Vice President for Administration. “These upgrades ensure that our students are equipped with the tools and spaces they need to succeed in today’s fast-evolving academic landscape.”

Future Expansion Plans

As part of USA's ongoing commitment to excellence, additional projects, including student housing facilities, green spaces, and sports complexes, are slated for completion by 2025. The university's leadership continues to focus on fostering a holistic, innovative, and vibrant community where students can thrive academically and socially.
