Autumnal Hues
Cody M. Brown
Golden leaves, like whispered dreams,
Fall softly to the quiet streams.
A rustling dance of amber light,
As day turns to the chill of night.
Crimson fires burn in trees,
While cool winds carry autumn’s breeze.
Each branch a sketch, a fleeting frame,
Of colors wild, untamed, and tame.
The earth wears hues of warm decay,
As summer fades and makes its way
For harvest moons and fireside glow,
Where stories bloom, and memories grow.
In autumn’s breath, I find my peace,
A fading world that finds release.
Like time itself, it gently sways,
And paints the sky with fleeting days.
